We set up at Colfax again this year. This is always a great show for us to get new operators. We just ask young people if they want to run the trains. If they are really young, we just have them honk the horn and ring the bell.

I live in Napa, and am interested in whether your membership includes any Sn3 modelers. I have modeled in the past in HOn3 and On30, and over the last few years am enjoying the virtues of Sn3. I have a nice collection of PBL and other brass locomotives from various manufacturers, all on a well detailed 2×8 ft. module. I’d like to know of anyone else in the north bay region with the same interests. This is, as I was warned, a very small slice of the train hobby, and you are kind of on your own, but, I’m sure there are others out there. Thanks for any feedback.-
Don Harper had a nice layout which was DRG and then one day it became SP Narrow Gauge. I’m not sure Don is still modeling. Best to float your enquiry at our groups.io group. You can join the group from a button on this website.
